Printed By Us are a ‘Social Enterprise’ and a non profit organisation that raise money to help homeless and vulnerable individuals. They do this by collaborating with artists and running screen printing workshops to teach skill and help them with employability.
This past month Andy has produced the artwork for an orange version of the loved Overcome print that was screen printed at APG Works in Sheffield. You can now purchase it online and help Printed By Us to help fight homelessness in the UK.

“Overcome don’t Overthink is a message to myself, created to inspire myself and others in more difficult moments. Suffering from anxiety is a daily battle for me but having little ways of getting through it really helps. Both creating this illustration and looking back on it help me on days when I’m struggling. Drawing is my sanctuary, especially getting lost in more detailed illustrations, it really focuses my mind. I created this illustration to help focus my own mind and also that of anyone viewing the illustration as their eyes read around the various positive messages.”

Bears of Sheffield have taken over the streets of Sheffield, 100 of them to be exact! As part of the campaign to raise money for Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Andy was asked to do a limited edition miniature Bear to auction off and every penny raised will help patients and families at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. These Bears are one of a kind and will only be available here.
Andy’s Bear is inspired by the song ‘Dont sit down ’cause I’ve moved your chair’ by Arctic Monkeys and features the lyrics ‘Go into business with a Grizzly Bear’. To help raise money you can now bid on our Bear by visiting the Sheffield Children’s website. Auction closes on the 9th of September so be quick!
